□Birth:1937.04.22. Born in 纽泽西州.

    ■他首次登台是演出好莱屋的舞台剧「茶与同情」, 後来尼柯逊跟著
    杰夫葛瑞进入电视界, 成为几部高收视率影集中的固定演员. 1958年
    , 演出了他的第一部电影, 因表现优异而得到导演罗杰考曼的重视,
    随即重用他在一些低成本的Ｂ级电影里担任要角. 尼柯逊是以【浪荡
    子】一片引起注目, 不但让他得到奥斯卡提名, 同时也开始独当一面
    . 至今为止, 他已得到十次提名, 并获得男主角及男配角奖各一次.
