Mindfulness is a subtle process that you are using at this very moment. The
fact that this process lies above and beyond words does not make it unreal--
quite the reverse. Mindfulness is the reality which gives rise to words--the
words that follow are simply pale shadows of reality. So, it is important to
understand that everything that follows here is analogy. It is not going to
make perfect sense. It will always remain beyond verbal logic. But you can
experience it. The meditation technique called Vipassana (insight) that was
introduced by the Buddha about twenty-five centuries ago is a set of mental
activities specifically aimed at experiencing a state of uninterrupted
Mindfulness.

正念是用心於当下的精巧过程。虽然语言难以描述,但其真实性却勿庸置疑。以下对正念
的描述,正如雾□看花一样,只是一些类推而已,也没敢打算做到完美的表达,难免遗漏
一些文字无法表达的部份。但是你仍可藉此经验正念。佛陀在两千五百年前所传下来的正
观禅(Vipassana Meditation音译作『毗钵舍那』),就是一套使你能够经验正念的心灵
活动。
