In order to foster electronic communication between Buddhist organizations
and individuals, DharmaNet International is compiling and maintaining a
directory of e-mail addresses for lay or monastic Dharma centers and
organizations, Buddhist scholars and publishers, and other resources of
support to the Buddhist community. If you'd like to be included in this
directory, or removed from it, or if your information has changed, please
contact Barry Kapke (e-mail: dharma@netcom.com).

I'm finding that the format continues to change as I'm trying to find a
workable balance of useful information and brevity. Information I need is:

Name:
Organization (if representing one):
E-mail:
Buddhist tradition (ie, Theravada, Zen/Ch'an, etc):
Brief comments (primarily intended to be helpful to me in trying to organize
   this information, not necessarily to appear in the directory):
Category for the listing to appear under (ie, Monastic center, Lay center,
Organization, Academic program, Publisher, Business, Practitioner, other
suggestions):

The Directory will appear online at DEFA (http://sunsite.unc.edu/dharma/
defa.html) when the first edition is ready. An announcement will be posted
when it is released. I'm struggling with "forms" at our Web site, trying to
make this easier for people to submit information; if you can assist in
this way, please contact me.

The Buddhist e-Mail Directory is for unmodified, free distribution only. All
