请问一下,密教的英文是不是就翻成Esoteric Buddhism?
下面是东亚佛学名相辞典节录下来:(抱歉有乱码)

末学听过这种翻法
but i don't think it's a proper translation.
因为"esoteric" 这个字有点特殊的暗示
建议直接用tantra （密续）字的变化来翻比较好
       -->   trantric Buddhism
假如你指的事藏传佛教
那就直接用Tibetan Buddhism

至於密乘其实就等於金刚乘
也常常看到  Vajra vehicle这种翻法
