    贴文者按：在传统基督教信仰中，天堂是我们要去的地方，也是我们众圣徒
    的盼望。可是最近，（主的恢复）认为天堂的说法与异教容易混同，所以要
    改、不想说。但是我觉得，这是枝节问题，不要因此伤了众圣徒的和气。总
    之，作基督徒是有盼望的，那盼望，你说是天堂也好，你说是新耶路撒冷也
    好，总之是极荣耀、极美好的地方。赞美我主！

    我若去为你们预备了地方，就必再来接你们到我那里去；我在哪里，叫你们
也在那里。□约翰福音 14 章 3 节
    If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive
you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. □ John 14:3

    一对夫妻把年迈的婶婶接来同住。他们担心她会住得不自在。於是，他们把
家中一个房间，装潢得与婶婶家里的卧室一模一样。婶婶到达之後，觉得那房间
里的家具、挂饰，以及其他心爱的物品，都如此熟悉，像是在对她说：「欢迎回
家！」

    在约翰福音 13 章 36 节 -14 章 4 节，耶稣在最後的晚餐中对门徒说话，
预备他们面对他的死亡。西门彼得问：「祢要往哪里去？」耶稣回答：「我所去
的地方，你现在不能跟我去，後来却要跟我去」（13 章 36 节）。耶稣继续对
彼得（也对其他的跟随者）说：「在我父的家里有许多住处；若是没有，我就早
已告诉你们了；我去原是为你们预备地方去。我若去为你们预备了地方，就必再
来接你们到我那里去；我在哪里，叫你们也在那里。」（14 章 2-3 节）

    天堂是万国万民基督徒将来要团聚的家，它也是我们天父的家。他在那里，
为你、为我预备好了一个房间。

A Place For You

    A couple who brought their elderly aunt to live with them were
concerned that she would not feel at home. So they transformed a room
in their house into an exact replica of her bedroom at the home she
left behind. When their aunt arrived, her furniture, wall hangings,
and other favorite things felt like a special 「 Welcome home! 」 to
her.

    In John 13:36 □ 14:4, we read that at the Last Supper Jesus spoke
to His disciples and tried to prepare them for His death. When Simon
Peter asked, 「 Where are you going? 」 Jesus replied, 「 Where I am
going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward 」
(13:36). Jesus was still speaking directly to Peter (and also meant it
for all of His followers) when He said, 「 In My Father 』 s house are
many mansions [rooms]; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go
to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I
will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you
may be also 」 (14:2-3).

    Heaven is a family gathering of believers from every tribe and
nation, but it is also our Father 』 s house □ and in that house He
is preparing a room just for you.

    When you arrive in heaven and Jesus opens the door, you 』 ll know
 you 』 re home.
